Printer Ink and Toner Cartridges
Simple replacement of ink / toner cartridges is considered an end user responsibility.
The following locations have replacement ink / toner cartridges.
Recommendations:
I do not recommend refilled inkjet and toner cartridges. They do not last as long and often fail in ways time consuming, frustrating and expensive..
Purchasing:
Contact the Accounting staff for information on how to purchase replacement toner cartridges. For Central Stores purchases, a Central Stores number is required which can be obtained from the accounting office.
Installation:
Replacement of ink cartridges is considered a simple end user task.
Please refer to the information that comes with the replacement cartridge, the manual, or the company web site.
Old cartridges:
Please package, label, and place in the main office shipping room. Once a week or so, someone comes by and picks them up.
Something to consider:
Before buying expensive ink jet cartridges, check out the price of a printer.
The ink jet cartridges are so expensive that occassionaly you can buy a new printer for close to the same amount of money.
