Phone Bridge

Setting up a telephone conference can be simple or somewhat complex depending upon the type of meeting, the number of people involved, and their location. Below summarizes the steps you will need to take but it is assumed you have already become familiar with the WSU HelpDesk PhoneBridge site.
You wish to have a phone conference with one person. This is simple. You dial the person, and press the speaker button on your speaker phone from your office.
You wish to have a phone conference with two or more people, all located in their own office. Almost as simple. You fill out the MeetingPlace Telephone conference Request Form. You will be given a pass code and all conference attendees (including you) will dial (509)335-4700. This will link all of you to your conference.
You have a meeting with several people. Most will meet in one room but Some wish to connect via telephone. There is no video conferencing involved. Reserve LJSmith 263.Fill out the MeetingPlace Telephone conference Request Form. You will be given a pass code and all conference attendees (including you) will dial (509)335-4700. In this case you will use the Polycom conference phone system to dial the number from LJSmith 263.This will link all of you to your conference.
Most all other options include video conferencing and the procedure is address under that topic.
