I am developing an interdisciplinary value added agricultural products research program focused on food safety and novel processing technologies.
I am currently investigating the fundamental thermal death kinetics of microorganisms, the engineering properties of agricultural products, and the use of radio frequency energy for pasteurization and disinfestations of agricultural products, and low pressure treatments for preserving fresh fruits.
